If your a serious fitness pro, buy it  Bedtime reading this book is not, but if you are in the fitness industry, or intersted in sports/exercise it is a must. This book is not a typical dreary textbook, it is full of colour coded areas of text, well presented graphs and tables, regular text summaries and even revision questions. There are plenty of photographs nearly all are colour and many interesting anecdotes. Very informative and excellent value for money. The only downside which we are always going to meet in fitness related publications is the bias towards the USA, some of the terms and descriptions need to be re read at times to clarify the meaning. Small price to pay for a top class reference book.
